I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Weston Secondary School, a thriving 11-16 school located in the heart of the community on the edge of Southampton.

Weston is a rapidly improving school which provides a safe environment for students to learn, develop and succeed. Over the past couple of years, we have invested significantly in the school’s buildings, including a new library and a state-of-the-art sports hall. Our aim is to provide the best learning environment for our students enabling them to flourish.

Our team of talented staff are passionate, inspirational and student focused.

Weston students come to school to reach their full potential engaging in our broad, balanced, inclusive and challenging curriculum which results in them all succeeding irrespective of background or need.

We are proud of our personal development curriculum that is both informative and enriching for all our students covering important aspects of contextual safeguarding in addition to our statutory responsibilities. In addition to this Weston has a successful careers offer that provides our students with important impartial guidance on their futures including opportunities for work experience, an interview with a fully trained careers advisor and trips and visits to local colleges and universities.

One of the highlights of my week is to wander around at the end of the school day and see so many of our talented students engaging in extracurricular clubs.
