Praise & Rewards

At Weston Secondary School, we are passionate about celebrating the successes of our students and our staff are very proactive in their use of rewards in and around the school. Positive recognition plays a crucial role in our school community.

Students are awarded positives in line with Aspire, Believe, Achieve.

Students work towards securing key milestones throughout the year as identified on our rewards mountains.  At each stage, students can secure postcards and certificates as well as invitations to celebratory events.

Throughout the year celebration assemblies take place in school to publicly recognise students’ efforts.

To ensure our rewards are meaningful and achievable they are reviewed periodically through student voice.
