Welcome to Weston Secondary School 

We are very pleased to welcome you to Weston Secondary School and are delighted that you are beginning this exciting new chapter with us. 

We understand that starting secondary school is a significant moment for both students and families. Our dedicated and caring staff are fully committed to supporting every child throughout this important transition. We place great importance on helping students feel safe, confident and excited about joining our school community. To support this, we offer a comprehensive transition programme designed to ensure a smooth and positive start to secondary education. 

As part of the transition programme, students will have opportunities to meet key members of staff and fellow students, become familiar with the school environment, and experience what a typical day at Weston Secondary School is like. They will also be able to explore the wide range of activities, facilities and learning opportunities we offer. Alongside this, parents and carers are warmly invited to meet with the Head of Year and members of the Senior Leadership Team, providing time to ask questions, share any concerns and receive guidance and reassurance. 

Our transition programme reflects our core school values of Aspire, Believe and Achieve. We are passionate about nurturing each individual and supporting students to develop confidence, resilience and independence. Our vision is for every student to leave Weston Secondary School as a well-rounded young person, equipped with the knowledge, skills and self-belief needed to secure a successful and fulfilling future. 

Weston Secondary School offers many exciting opportunities for students to discover new interests, develop their talents and achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
